The Queens man slain after a road rage fight was killed by a buddy — and a car he’d ridden in hours earlier, his relatives said Monday.
Adrian Harry, a 22-year-old charged in the deadly parking spot slaying, palled around with Richardo Chattergoon, who was crushed by the rented white Hyundai that Harry was driving when it jumped a curb and plowed into a crowd, the dead man’s aunt told the Daily News.
Hours earlier, Harry had used the car to pick up Chattergoon, 23, to head out for a Saturday night on the town.
“Adrian came to pick him up that night, probably to go to a bar or something,” said the woman at Chattergoon’s Far Rockaway home who identified herself only as his aunt.
“We don’t know why this happened. That’s what we’re trying to figure out.”
The two lived blocks apart, and had become friends in the year since Chattergoon had arrived in the U.S. from his native Guyana, she said.

“He only came to this country about a year ago,” she said.
The pair wound up outside a Hookah lounge on 129th St. and Liberty Ave. in South Ozone Park.
Police believe an argument over a parking spot kicked off Harry’s fit of rage about 5 a.m. Sunday. He had argued with two men in a BMW and allegedly stabbed both in the torso, authorities said. He then hopped into his Lakewood, N.J. rental, jumped the curb and plowed into a group of six lounge-goers standing on the sidewalk outside XS NYC.
One of them was his own friend and neighbor.
Cops cuffed Harry when he showed up at Jamaica Hospital — where the surviving victims had all been taken — for cuts on his hand. He was arrested and charged with murder, assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police also took a second man into custody who is suspected of using a hammer to bash in Harry’s car window after apparently watching his two friends being stabbed, authorities said.
After smashing the window, Vernal McLean, 22, of Brooklyn, got into his silver Nissan Rogue and chased Harry down the sidewalk, seconds before the fatal hit-and-run, police said.
A video of the mayhem, obtained exclusively by the Daily News, shows the Nissan whipping a U-turn on Liberty Ave. and tearing onto the sidewalk, right behind Harry’s Sonata.
McLean has been charged with criminal mischief.
