It’s strike three on Kimberly Perry and J.P. Arencibia’s marriage.
The Band Perry singer filed for divorce from her ex-MLB catcher hubby on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to People.
“Yes it’s true, my marriage has come to an end,” Perry, 34, wrote on Instagram Sunday. “I know that beauty will come from these ashes and, as always, I want to thank you all for your love and support. I’ll be in touch soon.”
The couple met in February 2012 after Arencibia got backstage at the Florida Strawberry Festival to meet the singer.
They got engaged in October 2013 in Perry’s parents’ backyard and were married in Greeneville, Tenn., in June 2014.
“All good. Half full kind of mentality,” Arencibia, who played in the majors for parts of six seasons before retiring in 2017, wrote on Instagram.
