No matter where you stand on the Han Shot First debate, what matters is that Solo got the job done. And if you’ve got the credits, the iconic smuggler’s modified DL-44 blaster can finally be yours.
On June 23, Julien’s Auctions will put one of three blasters actually used in Return of the Jedi up for bids at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. With the auction timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of Episode VI, the weapon is estimated to sell for between $ 300,000 and $ 500,000.
