“Glee” star Naya Rivera was arrested for assaulting her husband during a fight over their 2-year-old son Saturday night in West Virginia, according to authorities.
The 30-year-old actress is accused of drunkenly hitting hubby Ryan Dorsey, 34, in the head during a walk with their child while spending the Thanksgiving weekend in his hometown of Chesapeake, according to a police report.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office deputy that cuffed Rivera believed she was intoxicated at the time of the assault.
Dorsey handed authorities cell phone video that apparently shows the spousal clash, WSAZ-TV reports.
He declined medical attention for a busted lip and bonked head, police said.
Rivera was wearing a baggy hooded sweatshirt, leggings, slide sandals and handcuffs when deputies walked her into a Kanawha County magistrate court just after midnight.
The judge mispronounced Rivera’s last name during the brief appearance. She quietly tried to correct him, but soon gave up.
Rivera was arraigned on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and released to her father-in-law on a $ 1,000 bond. She was silent as she left the courthouse in Charleston, about 10 miles north of Chesapeake.
The source said Rivera is allowed to leave the state as the case proceeds.
Rivera filed for divorce from the “Ray Donovan” actor in 2016 but called off their separation in October to continue taking care of their child together. The couple tied the knot after three months of dating in 2014.
She was previously engaged to rapper Big Sean, before her rocky marriage to Dorsey.
The Detroit native appeared to mock Rivera’s arrest by tweeting a video that repeatedly said “I told you so,” early Sunday.
The hip-hop artist hinted at his tumultuous relationship with Rivera in the song “I Don’t F— With You.” He said the actress was too controlling and violent, TMZ reported in 2014.
Rivera, 30, rose to fame as cheerleader Santana Lopez on the hit Fox series “Glee,” which ran from 2009 to 2015.
